An international partnership on automatic classification of jobs, industries, skills, and related information.
The International Partnership on Automatic Job Coding (IPAJC) was established in 2021. The goal of the partnership is to
enable and promote efficient collection, processing, and accessibility of job information through improvement of automatic coding tools.
Key strategic foci of the partnership include external communication and outreach, internal knowledge and data sharing, and knowledge development.
These areas are implements by our four working groups (WG):
Responsible for developing and improving crosswalks between classifications. This WG is lead by Peter Elias and Cheryl Peters
Responsible for identifying relevant development datasets and testing of tools. This WG is lead by Melissa Friesen and Ellen Sweeney
Responsible for promoting IPAJC and its work. This WG is lead by Stacey Marovich and Olga Kononykhina.
Responsible for computer programming of automatic coding algorithms and software. This WG is lead by Malte Schierholz and Daniel Russ.
