Started in 2021, IPAJC is an international and multidisciplinary research partnership that aims to enable and promote efficient collection, processing, and accessibility of job information through improvement of automatic coding tools.
Initially, the partnership was formed by occupational epidemiologists and computer scientists engaged in examining the relationships between occupational exposures and health. Involvement and participation in IPAJC subsequently expanded to include experts in additional domains in which job information is relevant, including economics, official statistics, and sociologists.
Partnership leadership is elected on a two-year term by members. For 2024-2025, the leadership team includes:
